Shuffleboard is a unique game where, much like in pool and petanque, accuracy and a steady hand are crucial. It contains elements that can be compared to curling, bowling, and petanque.
Players push the pucks across the board towards the opposite end where the scoring areas are located – points are awarded based on the furthest possible placement of the pucks. This means that the winning puck is the one closest to the back line of the board.

It’s no coincidence that we’ve placed our Shuffleboard close to the Skovbar, as we’re sure you’ll need ice-cold beverages to keep your cool, and we’re sure your opponent will frequent the Skovbar often to fetch a round for the winning team…
The basics:
- 2 teams, 1-4 players per team.
- Red versus blue, with 4 pucks per team.
- Rock, paper, scissors determines which team starts.
- Both teams shoot towards the same end of the board. Players take turns shooting a puck.
- The team with a puck closest to the opposite end scores points. The losing team scores no points.
- The winning team counts the total points. All of the team’s pucks that are closer to the end than the opponent’s best-placed puck score points.
- If a puck touches a line, it is judged as not having crossed the line.
- The team that wins the “end” shoots first in the next round.
- The first team to reach 15 points wins.
