In Golfskoven it is no longer possible to play pétanque indoors, but our big outdoor course is ready to be played on.
Pétanque is the classic French game, that is fun for everyone, but also where finesse and cool control give you great odds.
It is all about having fun with one another. Our big outdoor gravel course lies ready for you, and if you need a couple of hints to get started, our guides will be there to help you with some advice.
We have a wide variety of drinks and snacks you can enjoy during the game, and of course, we have delicious burgers along with different beers and wines to enjoy after the game.
Booking and prices
You don’t need to book our outdoor pétanque course, it is free. We also have pétanque balls that you can borrow from the bar.

The pétanque course is located in Golfskoven’s backyard, and there is lots of room to have fun for as long as you want.

If you need tips and tricks for a good game of pétanque in Golfskoven, here are a few:
Throw the pétanque ball with your knuckles facing the sky. Let your hand hang professionally and linger in the air until your pétanque ball comes to a stop. This way, your opponents will sense your deep concentration and superior accuracy on the pétanque court.
Try to knock your opponent’s pétanque balls away with your own if your opponent is positioned too well. The frustration your opponent feels over a lost ball gives you a slight boost in the right direction toward victory.
Always be generous with praise for your opponents, no matter how they play. Hold back the obvious irony and commend your opponents for both good and less successful throws. By doing so in a gentlemanly manner, you break their concentration and give yourself an advantage in the game.
